About The Publishers: Lori Wondra and Jodi Lorence

Hi! I’m Lori and one-half of our Macaroni Kid publishing team. My husband and I are raising our family of four busy boys right here in Lakeville. We are both transplants from out of state – my husband is from Wisconsin and I am from Iowa. After over 15 years each in MN, can we officially call ourselves Minnesotan? I am a Macaroni Kid subscriber turned publisher. I found Macaroni Kid to be a huge help as a new parent when learning about all that our community had to offer parents and families. Now with children ages 6, 4, 2, and 9 mos I still find Macaroni Kid a great resource and hope that you do as well! 

Hi! I’m Jodi – the other half of our publishing team. My relationship with my family has always been my focus. My husband and I have 3 adult kids. My youngest daughter recently graduated from college and is working a full-time job. My son is working and recently purchased his first home. My oldest daughter and her 2 beautiful boys live less than a mile away. I am blessed to have them so close and be so involved in their lives as I watch them while my daughter is at work. My life is full of family, love, life, laughter, blessings, & friends. Macaroni Kid allows me to embody my purpose, passion, and strong dedication to children and families.I strongly believe that "A child has a special way of adding joy to every day.”

We were introduced to one another via Macaroni Kid and will be forever grateful! Don’t you love it when you meet someone you just know you will be friends with for a long, long time? We enjoy our time working on Macaroni Kid and supporting one another in through the trials and triumphs of parenting/grandparenting.

Our goal as Macaroni Kid publishers is to help connect you with family fun, family resources and family-focused businesses right in our backyard (saving you the time of research so you can spend MORE time with your kids)! There is so much to enjoy in our local communities! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with your suggestions, with local events, and with resources and businesses that you’d like to see highlighted or may be of interest to other local families.
