I am in love! I brought both boys, (who were wanting to play basketball) to a park with no playground and it kept them busier than any other park I have ever been to. Yes, no playground!! It is a nature park and it is amazing. You can also hike, grill, go on long trails and sleep there! I have yet to see the sleeper cabins but they are brand new and can only imagine how fun that would be.
The nature park has a really cool sand and water feature that my boys are now obsessed with. At the top there is a circle of sand with pumps that you can use to make water flow. Once water comes out it forms a river that flows down into another sand pit area. There were pans, shovels, rakes, twigs- everything already there to play in the sand but my boys primarily dug into it with their hands and feet.
Melissa's Tip: It was a little confusing when you pull in, but once you park there is a map and it shows that the park is right in front of you!
