By Jodi Lorence, Macaroni Kid Publisher February 6, 2024

This project can bring some color to your child's playroom, bedroom, art room or of course a great gift for a teacher or friend.

Supplies

Canvas (any size you choose and can be purchased at your local craft store)

crayons

hot glue gun and glue sticks

hair dryer

Directions

1. Decide on your pattern or maybe you just want to randomly glue the crayons on your canvas with the point of the crayon to the center of your blank canvas. Line the end of the crayon to the edge of the canvas. Glue the crayons in place. For Valentine's Day you could always glue them in the shape of a heart too.

2. Hold your canvas with your crayons glued on it over spread out newspapers in case your crayons splatter or drip. hold a hair dryer to the ends of the crayons to start the melting/dripping process.

3. Continue melting the tips of the crayons until you see the results that you are happy with.

4. Allow the crayon drips to dry.

5. Enjoy your masterpiece.
