MacPhail Center for Music’s Summer Sampler Camps are day-long camps intended for students who are interested in trying out a few musical instruments. No prior knowledge or training required! Students can choose between a few instruments in the morning and afternoon: percussion, violin, ukulele, piano, voice, and dance. (Yes, dance! MacPhail is partnering with Zenon Dance School to help students explore how music and movement partner well together.) A small performance concludes the camp on the last day. Instrument availability is dependent on teacher availability. All camps take place at the MacPhail Minneapolis location.
