July 17, 2023

Calling all foodies and music lovers—the 7th annual St. Paul Food Truck Festival will be rolling into Lot C at Union Depot on Saturday, July 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. This year’s festival is the biggest one yet, and more than 60 food trucks will be selling delicious street eats inspired by cuisine from around the world. Visitors can enjoy culinary treats ranging from Maine lobster rolls to birria tacos, New Zealand meat pies, and even deep-fried ice cream—as well as craft beer and seltzer.

Attendees will also be able to browse and shop for fashions at clothing trucks or for albums at a vintage record truck. There will also be a photo booth truck and something special just for four-legged attendants, plus life-sized Jenga, a mechanical bull, bean bag toss, henna tattoo artists, tarot card reader, and more.

Throughout the day, local cover bands will be performing favorites on the Minnesota Lottery Stage:

11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Whiskey Stone

2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Skitzo Phonic

6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.: Tyte Phitt

Maurina Rondeau, Marketing and Events Manager at Union Depot, thinks this event is the ultimate community get together, “With so many food trucks to choose from, activities and music, there really is something for everyone in the family.”

There is ample parking on-site at Union Depot and the areas surrounding the event location— using ride sharing or light rail is encouraged.

Those wanting to enjoy craft beers will need to request a wristband when entering the event. These are free but donations are welcome and encouraged. Donations benefit Feed My Starving Children—in 2022 over 41K meals were raised for those in need.
