Welcome Friends,
Can you believe it? 4 Days until Christmas Eve and 5 Days until Christmas? I have SO much to do still but I will get there. I do every year and this year will be no different. I have made a list every day and try my best to check items off as I go. I know I am late but tomorrow is Christmas cards which is much later than I usually send but that's ok. I will make a couple types of cookies tomorrow and get our Christmas Eve games ready as well. Then comes the food ingredient shopping for Christmas Eve and brunch on Christmas Day. So much to do but SO much fun to be with my family. I love every minute of it.
Along with all the business of the holidays comes the rest and relaxation. That includes knitting. Tomorrow the kids will be wearing Santa hats that I made for them. They turned out so cute. I will post a picture if I get one from them. I also knit a baby stocking for my upcoming grandson so his stocking can be added with mom, dad, and 2 doodles. it was hard to find a pattern that would coordinate with theirs but I think I did it. I do have a picture of that and will post it below. I also have knitted 4 baby sweaters, some baby booties, and hats. Once I get the buttons on the sweaters, I will post pictures of them. Oh, and still on the needles: a baby blanket, a pair of socks, another Santa hat (for myself), and a leftover sock yarn afghan. Knitting has always brought me peace. It clears my mind of stress and gives me a break from every day stuff, worries, etc. If you don't have a hobby, I highly recommend it. Enjoy your week and wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!
