Happy New Year~
Did you all enjoy bringing in the New Year? We had a fun evening at home with family, dinner, the Vikings Game and lots of games. We had a wonderful time and I still can't believe we are into 2024. The time just seems to fly by doesn't it?
With the New Year comes resolutions? Do you make a New Year's resolution? I never have but each and every morning I write in my planner and set a goal for each day. I work my hardest to achieve that daily goal whether it is to drink a certain number of ounces of water, to walk on the treadmill, call a friend, take time to read a book, or it is that I feel would be beneficial to my well-being. That is what it is all about isn't it? We are no good to anyone if we don't put ourselves first once in awhile.
So, this week, intentionally decide what is good for you to do to put yourself first and do that. You really deserve it. We seem to carry a lot of our family's weight on our back and put others many times before ourselves. You are worthy of that time we spend on others. So take your share. You will feel so much better in the end.
My goal today is to finish the newsletter, make a cup of coffee and continue knitting on the baby blanket I am working on. This afternoon I am going to organize my pantry in the kitchen. Having direction in your day and being able to check off tasks is what works for me. Wishing you all the best in 2024. Thanks for stopping by.
