Hello Friends,
Minnesota weather! They say that there is good in anything. I believe that and sometimes we just have to look a little bit harder to find the good in this bone chilling cold we have been experiencing. The good I found in it is that I have had some extra time to get my knitting projects done. There is great peace than making a cup of coffee, sitting in my cozy chair and knitting. The warmth of your project in your lap, the love that it brings, and the calmness just is the best. I recently finished a baby blanket, a sweater and working on a hat to go with this set. Then the booties and I will be on to making some winter hats. I have found some beautiful furry pom poms to add to them when I am done so I am excited to get started. For Christmas I had made some Santa hats but I made the pom poms with yarn and while that was fun, I am excited to add the furry pom poms. I hope you all have a hobby, craft, or something that brings you as much joy as knitting does for me.
While the weather has been SOOOO cold, there is hope on the way. We are back up in the 30's possibly by this coming weekend or next week. Stay warm everyone and if you want to venture out be sure to use our events calendar as a resource to find those fun local events and some a bit further away. I do my best to fill the calendar with fun events for you to do as a family in and near our community. Stay warm and have a wonderful week.

It is a little known fact that much like birds, who can always find north,
knitters can always find yarn.
