Doggie Depot Coronation: Saturday, Feb. 1 at Union Depot
WHAT:
Voting is now underway for the 2025 Canine King Boreas and Canine Queen of Snows! Participants can vote online once per day through Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025, for their favorite male and female dogs. With over 250 adorable canine candidates vying for the crown, the competition is fierce! Visit uniondepot.org/doggiedepot to see the King and Queen nominees and vote for your favorites. Winners will be announced on Monday, Jan. 20. The chosen royal pups will join the Saint Paul Winter Carnival royal family and participate in the King Boreas Grande Day Parade, Presented by Russell’s and SPAAR, on Saturday, Jan. 25. Their coronation will take place during Doggie Depot on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, at Union Depot.
Doggie Depot will also feature a large marketplace of vendors offering treats, toys, clothing, and more for pets and their owners. Local rescues will be on-site to connect dogs with forever homes, and pet experts will provide helpful guidance for attendees. Visitors are encouraged to bring their well-behaved, leashed four-legged friends to join the fun!
