Children's Theatre Company Summer Camps

Children's Theatre Company summer camps are open for registration. They have different themes every week with a full summer of exploration ahead! Camps begin on June 6th with offerings every week for grades K-12.

Theatre Arts Training is a process-based program dedicated to providing professional theatre experiences and education to build curious, creative, and confident young artists and people. We are more interested in what happens along the journey, from the first day to the last, than in a polished product. With this focus on the education experience, our camps take place in classrooms and rehearsal halls, not on stages.

Summer Adventurers are full day camps for grades k-3.  Summer adventurers focus on dramatic play to explore characters, settings, and themes with an interdisciplinary approach, including visual art, movement, books, and music.

Summer studio offers full day camps for grades 4-12 with multiple creative opportunities.  World Premiere with a focus on creating original scenes or plays through acting exercises, group brainstorm, and improvisation. Stagecraft, which use visual art such as puppets, scenery creation, or props as a starting point for theatrical creation.  Showtime camps rehearse and perform from existing scripts.

Musical Theatre Camps rehearse dances, scenes, and songs from existing musicals.

Covenant Park Bible Camp

Covenant Park offers a unique camp experience, located on Park Lake in Mahtowa MN, just 30 miles south of Duluth. Summer youth camps are packed with fun activities such as climbing wall and zipline, crafts, tubing, paddle boarding and kayaking, fishing, swimming, recreational sports and more. Our setting embraces the smaller group experience with typically 50-100 kids on site at a time and cabin sizes of 6-12 campers.

There is plenty of time to build new friendships, and create lasting memories with old and new friends alike. Our staff creatively schedule activities to encourage building these relationships. Most importantly, the invitation to build a friendship with Jesus is central to the programming at Covenant Park. Through small groups, dynamic speakers, personal study time, active worship, and fun activities each day is laced with a theme grounded in Biblical teaching. Campers are invited to grow in their relationship with Christ whether that's a first step of accepting Him or a next step of walking with Him.

Discovery Dayz Farm Camp

Discovery Dayz Farm Camp was established in 2021 as a family effort to share the blessings we enjoy on our hobby farm with local young men and women (ages 5-11).  Our motivation to start this summer camp is based on our desire to share our blessings on the farm with others, our care for youth, and our love of mentoring and teaching with positivity and love where everyone matters . . . and we think getting outdoors is important!  Our humble beginning last year showed the fruits of such motivation as many campers returned for multiple weeks!

Here, our campers get to hold, pet, feed, and learn about goats, chickens, turkeys, and ducks as well as play with our farm cats and dogs. And this year, we added a miniature donkey! We build woodworking projects, fly kites, create, experiment, swim, play, and learn . . . all building self-confidence, leadership, and friendship!
